How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Nextcloud
2FA protection is here to stay. You can enable 2-factor authentication on your Nextcloud server with a few easy steps, so that you never have to worry about someone capturing your password.
Navigate over to the Nextcloud App Store and install the Two-Factor TOTP Provider app under the security category.


In the top menu bar, click the circle icon with profile photo; select Settings from this dropdown list.
Select Security from the Personal section of the left side menu.


Check Enable TOTP and follow the on-screen instructions.
